9th “Diabetes Complications” Conference & Grand Rounds (DCOM 2017)

As you are most familiar, the National Diabetes Institute (NADI) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to prevention and better management of diabetes. It is managed by a Board of Trustees with representatives from the Malaysian Endocrine and Metabolic Society (MEMS), Malaysian Diabetes Association (DM), Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia, elected and founding members.
As a continuing commitment to healthcare professionals, NADI is organising the 9th “Diabetes Complications” Conference & Grand Rounds as stated above. This Conference & Grand Rounds will cover subjects of practical importance to healthcare professionals especially those directly involved in the management of diabetic foot, heart disease, kidney, eye and other complications of diabetes. The focus of the Conference & Grand Rounds is on recent advances and practical aspects of early detection and effective management of complications of diabetes through lectures, expert case discussions and demonstrations.
More than 40 local specialists in diabetes care and related fields will be in the Faculty of the Conference & Grand Rounds. In addition, distinguished international experts in diabetes and diabetic complications will also be invited as moderators to complement the Faculty.

2. Bahagian Perkembangan Perubatan menerima surat dari National Cancer Society of Malaysia yang memaklumkan bahawa persatuan berkenaan telah menubuhkan Cancer Information Service yang mengikut garispanduan yang ditetapkan oleh International Cancer Information Service Group (ICIS).
3. Perkhidmatan yang ditawarkan bertujuan memberi sokongan kepada pesakit kanser, penjaga dan juga orang ramai yang ingin mengetahui lebih lanjut mengenai penyakit kanser. Perkhidmatan ini disalurkan melalui toll-free helpline di talian 1800-08-1000 dan e-mail .

Waktu operasi permohonan laporan perubatan di kaunter jabatan rekod perubatan akan di tutup sementara (kerana kekurangan staf) pada waktu rehat (jam 1.00tghari - 2.00ptg). Kaunter jabatan rekod perubatan akan beroperasi seperti biasa pada jam 2.00 petang.
