Unit Information Technology (IT) is a unit where he is responsible for the management of information and communications technology (ICT) hospital involving the management of network systems, maintenance and procurement of ICT assets, implementation and monitoring of ICT projects, technical assistance, training and ICT security. This unit was established in 2005.

Activity

The main activities of the IT Unit is:

  • Maintaining, managing and coordinating the hospital ICT infrastructure;
  • Manage and monitor the implementation of ICT projects, namely the implementation of e-Government applications and the Ministry of Health (MOH);
  • Manage assistance and technical support of First Level Helpdesk Support and related equipment, software, applications and ICT networks;
  • Manage data and network security;
  • Managing asset acquisition of ICT and ICT equipment rental services;
  • Designing and developing computer application systems for internal requirements;
  • Managing the hospital ICT training program and the Department of State Health (SSR); and
  • To maintain the hospital's website.

IT Unit Hospital Tengku Ampuan Jemaah consisting of A (1) Assistant Information Technology Officer in charge of matters of information technology in hospital.
