Introduction
The Department of Hepatology of Selayang Hospital is the national tertiary referral centre for liver diseases. It is staffed by trained hepatologists, gastroenterologists, hepatology or gastroenterology trainees, medical officers, nurses and medical assistant who specialized in the care of liver patients. Our core business is in the diagnoses and management of simple or complicated diseases of the liver and biliary system. We also provide education for the public and training for future hepatologists and gastroenterologists in the country.
