INTRODUCTION
The Paediatric Department of Hospital Shah Alam provides both inpatient & outpatient services. There are two wards for inpatient services consisting of a 40 bedded general paediatric ward and a 60 bedded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The outpatient specialist clinic and general paediatric ward will provide secondary care for paediatric medical cases and tertiary care will be provided for neonates in NICU.
