Objectives

Diagnostic services for STAT testing to be carried out within 90 minutes of the Pathology Unit shall not be less than 90% of total applications.

Unit's Function

  • Provides patokimia routine tests and rest dangerous drugs.
  • Provides clinical trials.
  • Providing the tests routine hematology.
  • Provides blood bank and blood tube moving unit.
  • To provide reference for health clinics Hulu Selangor government agencies and the private sector and other relevant reference.

Scope of Services

Pathology services are divided into four main parts. These parts are:-

  • Laboratory patokimia.
  • Clinical laboratory.
  • Laboratory hematology.
  • Blood bank.
  • Reference laboratory - as the reference laboratory to the clinic around Hulu Selangor.

For the tests can not be carried out by the service, the specimen will be sent to the Reference Laboratory as the Selayang Hospital, Institute for Medical Research (IMR), Hospital Sungai Buloh, Kuala Lumpur Hospital, National Public Health Laboratory in Sungai Buloh (MKAK), the National Blood Centre (PDN) and Chemistry Department, Petaling Jaya.

  • Routine Test:
    • Monday to Friday : 8.00 am to 5.00 pm
  • Test After Office Hours (Task On-Call / On Call)
    • Monday to Friday : 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm
    • Saturday / Sunday and Public Holidays : 8.00 am to 8.00 pm
    • Routine testing of Out-Patient Department : 9.00 am to 2.00 pm only
  • STAT Test / Instant
    • Anytime

Customer Charter

We promise:-

  • Customers are given a clear and complete information about the exam requested when necessary.
  • All tests immediately initiated analysis within 15 minutes after receiving the specimen.
  • Each specimen is received and handled in accordance with the procedure prescribed standards. (Each type of test takes a different analysis).
